new point of view…

…I’m referring to a new camera lens that just arrived! Tokina 35mm. Feels like Christmas. (And for that matter it sounds like Christmas outside…winds are howling through the bare trees, cold, rain is hitting the window, and about 12 hours away from a chance of snow.)

These are just a couple of my first photographs with the new lens. Limited to inside the house today, per nasty weather. Hope to get outside with this lens in the coming week. I’m curious to get it out in better lighting conditions, as the focus is a little bit fussy here in the house.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

These are great shots. I especially like the window and the nose 🙂 I like the nose for it’s uniqueness and it’s a fun shot. I like the window for the clarity of the glass and raindrops, and the unlcear background. It’s thought provoking. Kind of like seeing the present – seeing today and yet seeing some vision of what’s beyond today yet not necessarily clearly. It’s great to have a plan, and when things get closer it becomes clearer as to how the plan will evolve. Also given the rain, overcast, there’s a quiet mood with it too.

I love my 35mm lens! It’s actually I’ve purchased since getting the D90 last spring …
