…another great day with a little photography adventure, followed by a yummy lunch (California rolls and crab salad…sorry, no photos of the food).

Alissa and I were on the bank of the Mississippi River, walking around a little park. The fun aspect of a photowalk is the sheer variety of subject matter. And we only were out there about an hour. The river itself wasn’t that interesting to me. But the leaf I found on the shore was interesting, so I placed it in the water (a little trick…I’ll call it creative opportunity). Some power lines—gotta love the triangles and rectangles created by the lines. A sproutling from a tree. (Yah I made that word up.) A portrait of Alissa. And finally we caught this passing train as we were walking back to the car.

Can’t wait to see Alissa’s photos! If she’ll let me, I’ll post some here.

  1. Looks like a great outing indeed.
    Fantastic stuff.

I especially liked the train with the stop sign – neat to capture the fast moving train, with the STOP sign nest to it.

Also, the orange leaves with the muted green and muted orange within it. Love this shot.

    Well done.

  3. Tina
