Did everyone survive all the turkey eating and Christmas shopping? My mom’s Thanksgiving chicken was fabulous. And I did a bit of online shopping (had to take advantage of a deal on some new textures for my photography imagery). And I did run in to B&N to buy the Nook Touch on Black Friday for $80. I’ve only read a little bit (checked out a book from the library for it), but so far so good.

Does anyone else think “Black Friday” sounds ominous? Didn’t they call it the Black Plague a few hundred years ago? Obviously that wasn’t shopping, but that’s my association. Just a little tangent thought, here.

I thought you’d like to see some of the cards I have for sale. Works like a charm to add any photo on my website to a favorites folder and email that to me with the quantity of each you desire.

These happen to be an order from my mom that will get mailed out tomorrow. 🙂

Custom wording also available! $5 each, or 10 cards for $40 plus shipping; envelopes included, of course.

Black Friday is not the name for a day after Thanksgiving! Perhaps “Fat Friday” like Fat Tuesday; but Black Friday brings all sorts of really bad things to my mind. When a kid we just called it ‘the day after Thanksgiving sale’; but then that was a very looong time agoooo.
